Who are we?

About ARTex

We are a non-profit organization that provides free coding tutoring to students. Teachers at ARTex have a renown understanding of computer science, and are able to break down complex concepts and present them in a way that is easy to understand. We have experience with students at all skill levels, and will adapt our teaching style to meet the needs of each individual.

Courses Offered

Python

Our lesson plan explores elements of Python such as data types, functions, and recursion to introduce our students in fields including web development, data science, and AI/Machine Learning. 

HTML, Javascript, and CSS

Our lesson plan covers essential web technologies, teaching students HTML for structure, CSS for styling, and JavaScript for interactivity, preparing them for front-end development.

Scratch

Our lesson plan introduces students to the basics of Scratch, focusing on concepts like loops, conditionals, and events to create interactive stories, games, and animations.

Introduction to Lua

Our lesson plan explores the basics of Lua, including variables, functions, and event-driven programming, equipping students to develop games and projects on platforms like Roblox.

Networking, Servers & GNU/Linux Basics

Our lesson plan introduces students to Linux fundamentals, such as command-line navigation, file management, and shell scripting, providing essential skills for systems administration.

Intro to Digital Electronics

Our lesson plan delves into electrical engineering principles, covering circuit design, components, and soldering to give students practical experience in building electronics.
