At ARTex Society, we recognize that one of the biggest barriers to coding is the cost of technology. Many families are unable to purchase the equipment  their children require  to successfully learn coding. Thus, our mission, alongside bringing coding education, is to provide the necessary equipment to youth for the opportunity to discover their passion for programming. Most importantly, we wish to ensure that every student will thrive in our programs regardless of their background.

In 2023, we purchased 14 Lenovo laptops, expanding our resources for our students. After arriving on December 11, the laptops were sent to our global branches: Vancouver, Los Angeles, Victoria, and Calgary. Alongside the laptops we purchased, we received a generous donation from a local high school Applied Skills/Robotics teacher in East Vancouver.

By ensuring every student in our program has access to the proper tools, they have a greater ability to thrive in their coding journeys. Not only is ARTex’s mission to provide education and resources to eager students, but also to promise inclusivity and equal opportunities. We take pride in ensuring no studentARTex will be left in a disadvantageous situation. As a result, every child will be able to learn, innovate, and succeed through our programs.

Lastly, we are incredibly grateful for the contributions from TD, EA and Ingenious+ for enabling us to provide these opportunities. Their generous donations have allowed us to purchase laptops, equipment, and other resources to further progress us towards our mission. With every resource we gain, we are able to offer  greater support to all our students and ensure that they have the most enriching experiences at our camps.
