On March 8th, in celebration of International Women’s Day, ARTex Society co-founder Reine Huang was honored to join the Women in Tech speaker series hosted by Electronic Arts (EA). This exciting event brought together industry leaders and changemakers, providing a platform to discuss innovation, leadership, and the role of women in STEM.

Reine joined a panel of four accomplished speakers, including, Natali Altshuler – Senior Vice President and Head of Operations at EA, Melissa Gilliam – Senior Software Engineer at EA, Tenille Dan – Director of Operations at EA, and Lucie Jeffers – Chief Strategy Officer at Canada Learning Code.

With an audience of nearly 200 attendees, the event provided an incredible opportunity to highlight diverse perspectives on technology and leadership. As the only high school student on the panel, Reine shared her journey in STEM education, her work with ARTex Society, and the challenges she has overcome to build coding opportunities for students from all backgrounds.

Reflecting on the experience, Reine said:

“Standing alongside such accomplished leaders, I was reminded of how far I’ve come in pursuing my passion for technology. I’m proud of the impact I’ve made through ARTex, and I hope to continue inspiring others—especially young women—to follow their dreams in STEM.”

Reine’s presence as a panelist alongside industry veterans is a testament to her dedication, leadership, and the meaningful work ARTex Society has accomplished. At ARTex Society, we are committed to fostering inclusivity and innovation in technology education, and moments like these inspire us to continue our work. We are incredibly grateful to Electronic Arts for hosting this impactful event and providing a space to celebrate the voices of women and youth in STEM.
